Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by DeckLogic Hampton Decks, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services Provided
DeckLogic Hampton Decks provides professional deck construction, repair, and related outdoor structure services in Hampton, VA and surrounding areas. Our services include custom deck design, installation, repairs, staining, and maintenance work.
All services are subject to availability and our ability to perform the work safely and according to local building codes and regulations.
Estimates and Quotes
We provide free estimates for your deck projects. All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices may change based on material costs, project scope changes, or unforeseen site conditions discovered during the work.
Final pricing will be confirmed before work begins. Any changes to the project scope will be discussed and approved before additional work is performed.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement. Typically, we require a deposit before work begins and final payment upon completion. We accept multiple payment methods for your convenience.
Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by Virginia law. Work may be suspended if payments are not made according to the agreed schedule.
Warranties and Guarantees
We stand behind our work with a workmanship warranty. The specific terms and duration will be provided in your service agreement. Material warranties are provided by the manufacturers and are subject to their terms and conditions.
Our warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, lack of maintenance, weather events, or modifications made by others after project completion.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your project before work begins with written notice. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or work has started may be subject to fees for materials purchased and work already completed.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone work due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Property Access and Safety
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to your property for our crew and equipment. Please ensure pets are secured and inform us of any hazards on your property before work begins.
We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our work. You are responsible for maintaining homeowner insurance on your property.
Permits and Compliance
We will advise you on permit requirements for your project. Depending on your service agreement, either we will obtain necessary permits or you will be responsible for obtaining them. All work will be performed in compliance with local building codes.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by Virginia law.
Dispute Resolution
If you have concerns about our services, please contact us directly so we can work to resolve the issue. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be handled according to Virginia law in the courts of Hampton, Virginia.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
